It is important to know the correlation and the difference between Azithromycin and birth control. Even though most types of antibiotics do not affect birth control, like patches, rings or pills, some antibiotics may decrease their overall effectiveness. That being said, it may lead to pregnancy.

Although most antibiotics probably do not affect hormonal birth control such as pills, patch, or ring, some antibiotics may decrease their effectiveness. This could cause pregnancy.
