This medication is in the family of benzodiazepine medications, and therefore should not be combined with alcohol. It is possible to use both of these drugs responsibly, but unfortunately, many people struggle with addiction to these substances, either alone and in combination. It is important not to mix Klonopin and alcohol, even with a legitimate Klonopin prescription.

This is a dangerous combo that can lead to several unfortunate health problems. When taken under the controlled environment of a medical doctor, the negative effects of these drugs can be minimized. However, most recreational users of this drug tend to take Klonopin and other prescription medications along with alcohol in order to increase the effects of the drugs.
