The first week just happened to be right after I finished finals, so I didn't get to see if it helped me with studying or test taking. However, I was working that week, so at least I was doing something. The problem is, I don't think I felt any different. I was more or less on task at work, but I would still get distracted from time to time. I think I felt some difference, but it was so subtle that it could easily have been chalked up to the placebo effect. On the second and third weeks, I didn't seem to feel anything , not even the subtle, placebo-ish effects. There were also several days where I would remember to take the first dose in the morning, but then forget to bring my second dose with me to take later in the day. Is that still considered an increase in dose? Should I notice any difference? Since starting on Adderall XR about two weeks ago, I still don't feel very much of a difference, if any, in my ability to concentrate or stay on task.

As we trudge through years of upper-level education, one thing becomes more and more evident: Before my doctor dropped the bomb and clued me in to how fucked up my brain is, I totally agreed. Sure, I can legally take Adderall and pull an all-nighter with no problem. You know what else I can do?
