Trouble falling asleep on lexapro

I dropped down from 10 mg of Lexapro to 5mg and most of the side effects have disappeared. However I am still waking up in the middle trouble falling asleep on lexapro the night and unable to get back to sleep. I've switched to taking Lexapro in the morning, taken melatonin but the only thing that seems to work for me is taking a benadryl how long for phentermine to kick in I wake up.

To answer your question, i was originally on 10 mg of Lexapro and had a lot of troublesome side effects. Miraculously they all went away when "Lexapro asleep" dropped down to 5 mg--with the exception of the sleep issue. My anxiety is much reduced and I am able to really tackle it with CBT thanks diazepam settled dog collars a great therapist. So I expect I will be staying on it at 5 mg for at least a few months.

Lexapro can cause sleep problems is it is a very activating antidepressant but it does work really well on anxiety and depression so you have to way up the pros and cons.

Have you tried Valerian Root for sleep? I find it works well Hibee I try not to worry about the future -- so I take each day just one anxiety attack at a time. Yesterday was day 3 for me and Lexapro. First night had little sleep, the second night slept great, and last night woke up around 4 AM and could not get back to sleep. Melatonin doesn't seem to do anything for asleep lexapro. I used to take Benadryl but have asleep lexapro recently that there's a link to Alzheimer's so I am not taking it anymore. I'm on Ambien but I can't really say that my sleep is normalizing yet. I get about hours which is just shy of what I need.
