Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic which mechanism action of azithromycin bacterial protein synthesis, quorum-sensing and reduces the formation of biofilm. Accumulating effectively in cells, particularly phagocytes, it is delivered in high concentrations to sites of infection, as reflected in rapid plasma clearance and extensive tissue distribution. Mechanism action of azithromycin is indicated for respiratory, urogenital, dermal and other bacterial infections, and exerts immunomodulatory effects in chronic inflammatory disorders, including diffuse panbronchiolitis, post-transplant bronchiolitis and rosacea.

Azithromycin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic of the azalide class. Like other macrolide antibiotics, azithromycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis mechanism action binding to of mechanism azithromycin action 50S ribosomal subunit of the bacterial 70S ribosome. Binding inhibits peptidyl transferase activity and interferes with amino acid translocation during the process of l-theanine for xanax withdrawal. Its effects may be bacteriostatic or bactericidal depending of the organism and the drug concentration. Its long half life, which enables once daily dosing and shorter administration durations, is a property distinct from other macrolides. For the treatment of mechanism action of azithromycin with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the specific conditions: Azithromycin, a azithromycin antibiotic belonging to the macrolide subgroup of azalides, is used to treat STDs due to chlamydia and gonorrhea, community-acquired pneumonia, pelvic inflammatory disease, pediatric otitis media and pharyngitis, and Mycobacterium avium complex MAC in patients with advanced HIV disease.

It's not like half disappears the first 10 hrs and and the other half is gone the next 10 hr. It takes time for your body to clear it especially with time release capsules, but that's a whole other issue.
